We need your help as we prepare to relocate from our current location to our new home in downtown Brattleboro. Located at the corner of High and Green Streets, the new location will greatly expand our ability to support the mission of HatchSpace, "To sharpen our senses, enhance our local economy, and strengthen our community through the pursuit of craft". Moving from a 4000 sq ft space to 7000 sq ft will allow greater opportunity for classes, workshops, and mentorships. The task of relocating is daunting, but with your help we can make this happen. We will need help with a wide range of tasks, from packing hand tools to disassembling larger machines.
To ensure safety, Covid protocols will be in place. The number of volunteers at any given time will be limited, masks required.
Volunteers of all skill levels needed!
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information; name and phone #. You will be added to the volunteer list. You will be contacted as you are needed. Thank you in advance for your help!
It's been quiet at HatchSpace. We're ready to change that! This year, we'll open our doors again after having closed for the pandemic last March. But not a regular reopening. A new, improved HatchSpace in a new location. More machines, more classes and workshops for all skill levels, and more flexibility for access to the makerspace.

"Douglas is a gentleman of deep integrity, full of love for his art and craft, and meticulous in husbanding his 'children' — the instruments he makes so well. I’m especially grateful for the long-pattern model which has served me and several of my taller students very successfully. I cannot recommend Doug Cox highly enough."
