No Woodworking Experience Required
This class is a three hour hands-on workshop designed for high school students or adults. Using a web-based CNC software program that allows participants to design and carve from a single platform, you'll learn the basics of design for the X-Carve. Easy to use and requiring no prior knowledge, participants will design and carve a 6 x 6" two color mosaic tile in Easel to learn CNC basics. Students can personalize their project and bring it to life by manufacturing on our X-Carve machine, a computer numerical controlled machine (CNC). After learning the basics, the possibilities are endless for carving on wood, plastic or other materials. Check out projects online to see the possibilities.
Class limited to 5 students. It would be beneficial if participants bring their own laptop with free Easel account established. (Laptop can be provided if needed)
