No Woodworking Experience Required

This beginning/refresher class offers in-depth instruction on several essential woodworking processes including milling to exact dimensions, cutting curves, drilling holes, and shaping edges. Through the creation of a simple cutting board project, students will be taught the safe and thoughtful use of the jointer, planer, table saw, band saw, drill press, and router. Instruction will rely primarily on demonstrations, class discussions, and in-class work time.  This small project serves as a great introduction to woodworking fundamentals.

Cost of materials not included.

3 Thursday Sessions: Oct 28 - November 11

Time: 1 - 4 pm

Cost: $200

Member cost: $125

Financial aid may be available. Contact amanda@hatchspace.org for details.
