Woodworking for Kids: Build a Tile Top Table
Kids can learn about basic woodworking tools and processes while building a small pine tile top end table to take home. In a highly supervised and safe environment, Gail will cover plan reading, measuring and marking, cutting, drilling, sanding, building, tiling, and finishing.

Gail Grycel, owner of Twin Birch Woodworking in Westminster West, Vermont, has been a custom cabinetmaker since 1984. The balance of beauty and function exists in her cabinetry and furniture throughout New England. For over twenty years, and in three states, Gail has empowered women and girls through her class offerings in adult learning programs, woodworking courses in her studio, at HatchSpace, and the Claremont Makerspace, Rosie's Girls summer camp sessions, mixed gender workshops and one on one tutoring. She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and experience to all who want to explore the love of making things out of wood.
Full refunds or a class credit can be provided if you cancel at least 4 days before the start of the class by contacting HatchSpace at firstname.lastname@example.org, by calling 802-257-3935, or in person. There are no refunds, transfers, make-ups or deferments for missed classes.
HatchSpace reserves the right to cancel any class for any reason. A class may be canceled in the event the minimum number of students for the class is not reached. In this case, registrants will receive a full refund or class credit, and notified by valid email provided at registration.
