  • Refund Policy: Full refunds or a class credit can be provided if you cancel at least 48 hours before the start of the class by contacting HatchSpace at info@hatchspace.org, by calling 802-257-3935, or in person. There are no refunds, transfers, make-ups or deferments for missed classes.
    Cancellation Policy: HatchSpace reserves the right to cancel any class for any reason. A class may be canceled in the event the minimum number of students for the class is not reached. In this case, registrants will receive a full refund or class credit, and notified by valid email provided at registration.

Come dive into the basics of how a table saw works: blades, squaring, safety, troubleshooting, and  learn what you can do with it: ripping, crosscutting, joinery. Explore advanced operations of joinery: dados, rabbets, miters, and how they can form the aesthetic and function of your project.

Gail Grycel, owner of Twin Birch Woodworking in Westminster West, has been a custom cabinetmaker since 1984. The balance of beauty and function exists in her cabinetry and furniture throughout New England.  For over twenty five years, and in three states, Gail has empowered women and girls through her class offerings in adult learning programs, woodworking courses in her studio, Rosie’s Girls summer camp sessions, mixed gender workshops, and one on one tutoring. She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and experience to all who want to explore the love of making things out of wood.
